My Spring Break 2023

I did several things over spring break. During the first weekend, I visited my grandparents in Scottsdale, Arizona. We attended spring training in Scottsdale for the Colorado Rockies and watched March Madness basketball. My entire family went and it was a really exciting trip.

After I got home from this trip the highlight of my week was the hike I took with my girlfriend. We hiked Colby Canyon in the Angeles national forest, the views were gorgeous and there was a beautiful waterfall. We hiked about 2.5 miles before we reached snow. I decided it wasn't safe to continue as the angle was steep and the snow was icy. Despite this being one of the shorter hikes my girlfriend and I have attempted the steep incline caused this to be the hardest hike we have completed. The views were gorgeous and it was worth the sore legs, we even saw two waterfalls. The video is from where we turned around, as you can see there is a decent amount of snow for the altitude we were at.
